Tropical Depression Basyang enters Philippine Area of Responsibility

Tropical Depression Basyang has just entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), as far weather bureau report is concerned, dated Jan. 30 (Thurs).

Some areas, mostly hit by typhoon Haiyan and tropical depression Agaton were put to Signal No.1, as listed below:

Southern part of Leyte
Southern Leyte
Bohol
Surigao del Norte including Siargao Is.
Surigao del Sur
Northern part of Agusan del Sur
Agusan del Norte
Camiguin Island
Dinagat Province
Misamis Oriental

Forecast says, Basyang will 303 km northeast of Hinatuan by Friday evening. It will be 325 km east northeast of Puerto Princesa City by Saturday evening.

Basyang will be out of the PAR by Sunday evening.
