Charice Pempengco committed suicide by slashing her wrist due to financial issues, news reports and blog posts say in unison. The truth is, Charice attempted to end her life due to a lot of issues concerning her diminishing fame, hence worsening financial status.
We chanced upon a video interview of Charice’s grandmother Teresita Relucio, with Cristy Fermin, wherein the old woman confirmed that Charice really did attempt to commit suicide. At least, that's what they told me, Teresita said.

Addressing Charice's mother Racquel, Relucio said:

News have it that Philippine cops get their year-end bonus! It will be an early merry making for the Philippine's cops as they enjoy the holiday season with their families, plus a year-end bonus as the pocket money.
The said release of year-end bonus for the cops was announced on Friday. The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) approved the pay allotment worth P1.8-billion.

PNP public information office chief, P/Senior Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac said:

The year-end bonus has been credited to the individual ATM payroll account of PNP personnel with the Land Bank of the Philippines

Those without an ATM account shall receive their year-end bonus via cheques. On the other hand, PNP personnel with administrative and criminal cases, had their bonus release deferred.

China reportedly sent fighter jets to disputed air defense zone, despite the protest shown by Japan and South Korea.
The newly claimed air defense zone of China has been openly contested by Japan and South Korea, saying they still flew into aerial zone even after the former's declaration of ownership.

If you have been following the news, 2 US unarmed B-52 bombers also flew into the said air defense identification zone or ADIZ of China, a few days ago. The US said, it was a pre-planned air military exercise.

Meanwhile, Col. Shen Jinke, spokesman for the People's Liberation Army Air Force told the media that the Chinese warplanes have been on "high alert" and are prepared to respond to any emerging air threats.

The said data revealed that Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. had the most sold units of its Lexus, through its market arm Lexus Manila Inc., which is also the highest tax payer in 2012.

Second in rank is Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. The company sold 34,915 units with P455.29 million taxes paid in 2012.

Tuesday night was a thrilling chance for Amber Riley and Derek Hough to take home the ultimate trophy for the Season 17 of 'Dancing With the Stars'.

Nearly 150,000 units of Ford Escape have been called for a recall due to a potential engine fire risk, Ford Motor Company announced.
The 2013 Ford Escape Crossover Utility Vehicle is manufactured between the years 2011 and 2013. There have been reports that Escape's engine cylinder is prone to overheating, which could result to an oil leak and eventually, trigger fire.

At least 12 incidents have already occurred in the US and Canada.

The like of this recall happened several times already. Last year, about ten thousand (10,000) Ford vehicles were recalled due to fuel leaks.

In particular, as per data cited by news.yahoo.com, the latest for Ford Escape recall is actually the seventh time already.

Ford Escape held an increase in US sales in the month of October. It goes as the second best-selling Ford utility vehicle (UV) with F-Series pickup trucks on top. Moreover, Escape ranks second in sales behind Honda Motor's CR-V.

Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is now under a frozen asset sanction from the Philippine's tax bureau due to an alleged non payment of taxes for his US bouts in 2008 and 2009.
There has been an allegation that Pacquiao did not pay his 2.2 billion pesos ($50.2 million) due taxes.

In support of Pacquiao's plight, Top Rank agency assured that for every fight that the champ made in the US, it made certain that proper payments are made to the US government.

If Manny Pacquiao paid his taxes in the US, then he shall not be obliged by the Philippine government to pay double taxes. This ruling has been confirmed by the Philippine government side, said Arum on Tuesday.

The payments Top Rank promotion sent to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) were via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Although Manny already provided a documentation to show his payments to the US tax authority, the Philippine government asks him to show certified paperwork for the transaction.

To which, Bob Arum said, it will be available very soon.

After a victorious bout against Brandon Rios, Manny Pacquiao rushed home to fulfill his pledge to help the victims of super typhoon Yolanda. However, with his bank accounts frozen, he cannot be able to do so.

France is on the way to sending a thousand troops to Central African Republic, said France defense minister on Tuesday.
The troops dispatch to Africa has been confirmed by Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, after the United Nations' warning on civil war in one of the poorest countries in the world.

Rebel forces in Central African Republic have already joined efforts, in fact they already overthrew the country's President. The insurgents were accused of several crimes including rape, killings and even force recruitment of children to join the rebel group.

Le Drian said:

It's in collapse and we cannot have a country fall apart like that. There is the violence, massacres and humanitarian chaos that follow a collapse

It will be a short mission to allow calm and stability to return.

This move of France by sending troops to Central Africa is an international responsibility, said Le Drian.

France will be working hand in hand with another African forces from neighboring countries to restore order in the atrocity-stricken part of the African republic.

At least twenty two (22) graves have been found in the Mexican state of Jalisco, overall containing more than 40 dead bodies, Attorney General's Office said.
According to federal authorities, the said 40+ bodies are still unidentified but initial investigation revealed wounds from gun shots, including signs of torture.

Mexican Attorney General Jesus Murillo Karam told the media on Monday:

We started the investigation when two police officers disappeared

We found that those responsible for the disappearances of these police officers were municipal police, practically all of them municipal police officers.

We detained them, and from that investigation we found a place where the federal agents might have been buried

This is some kind of a summary execution of the same kind - police officers executing fellows in the same uniform.

After a tough 12 rounds of slugging it out with Manny Pacquiao, Brandon Rios got into an interview and was answering the questions well, until a point came where the interviewer mentioned about how Pacquiao praised him for standing out there in the middle of the fight and no matter what the Filipino boxer throws at him, he just stood there with a tough chin.

Fil-Am Eva Noblezada Plays the character Kim in the revival of Miss Saigon, comes Miss Saigon 2014 London.
Eva is from Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been an achiever even at her young age; She won Best Actress at the Blumenthal Performing Arts High School Musical Theater Awards, for portraying Ariel in a local art production of "Footloose".
