Filipina model died due to severe beating by foreigner husband

Aiko Baniqued Moore, a Filipina commercial model died due to an alleged severe beating by her foreigner husband James Edward Moore II, aka Jim Moore.
The 28 year old Aiko was rushed to the Makati Medical Center on Wednesday night but was later on pronounced dead by her attending doctors.

A friend of Aiko told ABS-CBN in an interview - the model confessed that she has been frequently beaten up her husband.

In another occasion, the victim's niece, Cristina Rose saw her aunt being beaten up by her husband. Mr. Moore was banging Aiko's head on the wall, Cristina added.

Moore tried to flee from the crime scene but was captured afterwards. Moore even tried to commit suicide by attempting to slit his own throat. He is now confined at the Ospital ng Makati for treatment and is under investigation by the police.
