Rubilen Amit wins World 10-Ball Championship

Rubilen Amit stood on top in the World 10-Ball Championship 2013, held at the Resorts World Manila on Monday. Amit beat Britain’s Kelly Fisher, 10-7.
With the game tied at 7-all, Rubilen won the last three racks, catapulting her into being the champion.

Other notable players in the World 10-Ball Championship were Taiwan's  Tsai Pei Chen, 9-7 and China's Han Yu, 9-2.

Rubilen Amit took home $21,000 while Kelly had $10,000.

Congratulations to Philippine's very own cue artist Rubilen Amit.

For the record, Rubilen is a top pool player from the Philippines who competed in local events and abroad. She bears a title "Three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist".
