14-pound baby born in Utah photo gets viral

The baby boy weighing 14-pounds shocked his mom upon knowing the weight. The doctors said it was their biggest born as far as hospital records are concerned.

JJ's mother had two OBs for her delivery. They knew that the baby is going to be big. Said Sara:

I had to have two [obstetricians] deliver him instead of one, because they knew he was going to be big

They struggled to get him out.

However, chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Dr. Robert Barbieri said, the 14-pound weight is simply because the baby has type 1 diabetes.

It's an effect of one's deficiency in insulin. The baby could grow oversize due to the rise of glucose.

Sometime ago, perhaps some of you saw this baby boy's photo passing around social networks and other sharing media portals. JJ's size is amazing for a little boy but let's hope he gets pass his type 1 diabetes.
