Bohol wall emerged after magnitude 7.2 quake

Miles-long Bohol wall was created after a devastating magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit the Visayas region in mid October this year.

This is how the torn-apart soils, dubbed as the Bohol Wall, look like.
The spectacular work of nature measures kilometers, extending through some of Bohol's farmlands, where the very powerful tremor pushed the ground up for almost three meters.
Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology's Maria Isabel Abigania told news agencies:

Our people have walked five kilometers (three miles) so far and not found the end of this wall,” she said, as experts from the institute surveyed the damage. 

So far we have not gotten any reports of people getting swallowed up in these cracks. The fault runs along a less-populated area.

The said Bohol wall is just one of the many remnants of the damages that the Bohol quake brought to the Visayas region. As of the latest, the death toll rose to 213 already while the cost of the damage is estimated at P1.8B mark. (Photos: ph.news.yahoo.com, theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com)
