Ateneo Kidnapping incident, not a criminal matter says QC police

Both the Ateneo kidnap victim's parents and Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) stood on the belief that an abduction really happened, while the Quezon City Police (QCPC) says otherwise.

On Wednesday, QCPD said, what took place was a private matter and therefore cannot be considered as a crime. There was, somehow a strong deduction from how the victim's parents reported the "kidnapping" incident to the police station, that there was really no abduction that ever took place.

According to QCPD director and Chief Superintendent Richard Albano, the victim arrived home the day after the parents reported to the police authority. No case at all, the Director added.

Both the father of the supposed victim and the people following the seemingly vague information on what really happened, including the school - (ADMU) are in doubt why QCPC is denying the existence of the "heinous crime".

The Ateneo kidnapping case happened on November 21 (Thurs), 2013 between 6 - 6:30 PM in the North Car Park of the Loyola Heights Campus of the Loyola Schools.

Here is a copy of the memo released by the Ateneo De Manila University Vice President Fr. Nemesio S. Que, SJ:

Whatever the truth governing this Ateneo kidnapping issue is, let's hope that it will come out, to clear out things.
