'Metro Manila' tops in British Independent Film Awards 2013

This year's British Independent Film Awards has got 'Metro Manila' on top of the list. It's the UK's foreign language entry to Oscar and it did take home three (3) awards including Best Film, and Director for Sean Ellis.
'Metro Manila' is a Philippine-set thriller, heist drama, which featured the life of a farmer who moved into the capital city with his family, in hope to land a better life. But later on, he found himself submerged into a complicated encounter with the a criminal underworld after he took the job of being an armored car driver.

The 2013 British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) was held on Sunday at London’s Old Billingsgate.
