Nelson Mandela dies at 95

Peacemaker and activist Nelson Mandela died on Thursday at the age of 95. He was a statesman, moral scale and a hero to the blacks and the whites. Due to recurring lung infection, which triggered series of hospitalizations, Mandela had to end the battle for this worldly life.
Nelson Mandela is considered as his nation's greatest son and it's people's mighty father. He was a symbol of great influence and courage.

South African President Jacob Zuma said:

What made Nelson Mandela great was precisely what made him human. We saw in him what we seek in ourselves.

From the U.S. President Barack Obama:

We've lost one of the most influential, courageous and profoundly good human beings that any of us will share time with on this Earth ..He no longer belongs to us -- he belongs to the ages.

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison and what freed him is absolutely self denouncement of hatred and bitterness. In his words, Nelson Mandela while walking out of his prison in 1990:

As I walked out the door toward the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn't leave my bitterness and hatred behind, I'd still be in prison

Nelson Mandela is regarded by the world as the icon of anti-apartheid and a father of modern South Africa.
