California doctor 'Candy Man' pleads guilty to illegal prescription

A Sta. Ana, California Doctor known as the 'Candy Man' pleaded guilty to illegal prescription to his patients. The Doctor is identified as Julio Gabriel Diaz, a 64-year-old medical practitioner in the Orange County.

Diaz is also linked to a lot of drug-related deaths in California. Records gotten by the court identified at least 11 of the said deaths were by overdose.

On Thursday, he pleaded guilty to 11 counts inside the court room. On June 2, he will be returning to serve a sentence of up to 200 years in prison.
