So ex-VJ Kat Alano was raped by Vhong Navarro? The netizens ask

So the netizens ask - was former video jockey Kat Alano raped by Vhong Navarro?

A news feed came out to add up to the already-messy news about Vhong Navarro mauling (pambubugbog), allegedly by businessman Cedric Lee and his colleagues, due to a supposed rape attempt on model Deniece Cornejo.


Obviously, this is another thing to look into by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), now that investigation has already rolled and initial findings have been laid on the table for further confirmation.

While the authorities are on their way to clear the smoke on Vhong Navarro, Deniece Cornejo and Cedric issue, another angle came out in the person of former MTV Philippines VJ Kat Alano.

Ms. Alano caught the social media crowds' attention when she started posting clue-like passages. Her messages were perceived as show of support to Deniece Cornejo, but also put up a hint that she has been a rape victim of Mr. Navarro. Whatever the truth behind Alano's social media rants is, we still have to wait for the corresponding official statements.

Apparently, Kat Alano posted a status on Facebook on Jan. 25 (Sat):

Justice from the universe. Thank you. After 9 years. Karma people. Don’t ever underestimate it. Just be patient. The truth always comes out.

On the following day, Jan. 26 (Sun), she posted the message below:

I think it’s appalling how people are so quick to defend those accused of rape. This is why so many people get raped. That’s a fact.

And this one came in a bit more of juice:

Go out and get raped. Have someone shed you of your dignity, your pride, make you scared and feel vulnerable because you couldn’t protect yourself. Have someone take your right to feel safe in society and violate you as a human being. Then go out and tell your mom, your dad, the police, the doctors and everyone, that you were raped. Sound easy? Shame on everyone who has chosen to say ‘innocent until proven guilty’ for the accused but ‘kill yourself’ for the accuser. Are you proud of yourselves?

Kat Alano is quite careful in her postings; She never mentioned any names, not that of Vhong's.

Some Twitter people speculate that Kat Alano represent another picture of what's going on Vhong Navarro. Some even fear that the people's view on the noon time show host Navarro might turn the other way around.

In an interview released yesterday, of which we were not able to make a post, Cedric Lee said other women victimized by Vhong will be coming out to speak up. Is Kat Alano the initial of it?

The '9 years ago' phrase is even more revealing as you may know. Tracking back the records, some nine years ago, Kat Alano was a co-host of Willie Revillame’s noontime show “Wowowee”, which ran from 2005 to 2006 on ABS-CBN. Vhong Navarro was, and has been on the said TV network.

The question now shoots again - was Kat Alano raped by Vhong Navarro? Will there be more of Kat to come out while the investigations are going on? Yesterday, a news broke out that Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and his companions were charged for 6 offenses, and it has already been passed by the NBI to the Prosecutor General's office.

Let's see what comes out of this new side of the story, new picture and angle and personality involved, possibly in the person of Kat Alano.
