Actress Joan Fontaine Dead at 96

Oscar winning actress Joan Fontaine died on Sunday at the age of 96. She breathe her last at her home in Carmel, California. She died of natural causes.
Joan Fontaine is well remembered as the artist whose film career had a marathon rivalry with her sister Olivia de Havilland.

Among the famous films of Joan Fontaine is "Suspicion", where Cary Grant is one of her co-stars. Fontaine won an Academy Award with the said film in 1942.

For a bit of a trivia, Joan Fontaine repeatedly turned down a marriage proposal from Howard Hughes, a multimillionaire American business magnate and investor.
