New tapir species discovered in Brazil

A new mammal, tapir specie has been uncovered by a group of scientists on Monday in Brazil. It maybe considered as one of the grand discoveries in the 21st century, in the realm of zoology.
The said new species of tapir is believed to have been inhabiting Brazil and Colombia.

Tapirs are close to hidden from the current science we deal with, but they are widely known in the indigenous locals.

The first tapir kind was found in 1865. This latest one, named as Tapirus kabomani, or the Kobomani tapir is the fifth one.

Tapirs are found living in the open grasslands and forests of Brazil's Southwest Amazon, as well as Colombia's.
