PXC 42 Fight Card - Pacific Xtreme Combat

The official PXC 42 Fight Card is now practically waiting on the line, as the date draws near. The University of Guam Fieldhouse will be hosting at least nine (9) fights, including the main event.


Here is the official and confirmed PXC 42 Fight Card:

Jang Yong Kim (KOR)  vs.  Toby Misech (GUM) - male (Main Event, Title Fight) 145 lbs

Yoojin Jung (KOR) vs Kailin Curran (HI) – female 115 lbs

Frank Camacho (GUM) vs Keita Nakamura (JPN) – male 155 lbs

Kyle Reyes (GUM) vs Yusuke Yachi (JPN) – male 145 lbs

Tyrone Jones (GUM) vs Josh Muna (GUM) – male 155 lbs

McKlane Alfred (GUM) vs Roman Alvarez (SPN) – male 125 lbs

Jay Tenorio (GUM) vs Shane Alvarez (SPN) – male 125 lbs

Trevin Jones (GUM) vs Ricky Camp (GUM) – male 135 lbs

Jose Ramirez (GUM) vs Joshua Cruz (GUM) – amateur male 155 lbs

The Main Event between Kim and Misech is a Featherweight Championship fight.

PXC 42 will be this 28th of Feb. The showtime will be at 7:30 PM or Friday 02.28.2014 at 05:30 AM ET.

Jan Yong Kim:

In MMA because of the mixture of striking and grappling, the fights are much more dynamic and you have to be prepared for anything and everything. I plan to be well rounded and bring him into my gameplan. We’ve left no stone unturned in our preparation. I want to put on a good show for the fans around the world

Challenger Toby Misech:

I’m always looking for the knock out. That’s just how I fight and I feel like a knockout against the champ can be successful if I can land. I changed up my training by putting on more size and power and I also increased my cardio. This camp I have been training to fight 25 minutes just in case.
