Bitoy, Rufa Mae and Others Summoned by MTRCB for Naughty Bubble Gang scene

Mainstays of GMA Network gag show Bubble Gang, Michael V or Bitoy, Ruffa Mae Quinto and other GMA Executives were summoned by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) over a naughty Bubble Gang skit, which was aired on November 29 (Fri).
MTRCB Chairman Atty. Eugenio "Toto" Villareal referred to the particular scene as derogatory portrayal of a woman.

In the episode, Ruffa Mae (Susie) played a character applying for a job - as a cook and vendor of puto bumbong, a Filipino sweet delicacy. On the other hand, the entrepreneur was portrayed by Bitoy.

Chairman Villareal cited that Susie's act involved shaking of her breasts, witnessed by young men with clear sexual delights.

Villareal added:

It appears that the segment stereotypically portrayed a woman as an object of rather frivolous, albeit carnal, delight. When women are treated as commodities, they are disrespected and degraded
