Doraemon - The Movie 3D Animation Trailer Video Released

It is all set! Doraemon - The Movie 3D animation Trailer video has just been released. Your all time manga and anime series favorite Doraemon is coming out in 3D animation by 2014. It will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, while the 3D effects will be under the creations of animation specialist and game creator Ryuichi Yagi.

Doraemon 3D animation movie is set to come out by summer 2014.

Yamazaki told local media:

I want the viewer to experience what it would be like if they could get their hands on Doraemon's gadgets, what they could do. It's like my own childhood dream, but with 3D you can do that

The director and artist Yagi have been working on the Doraemon CG project more than a year ago.

Doraemon 3D movie is subtitled "Stand By Me". It will be the 36th big-screen version of the traditionally hand drawn animation series. Significantly, the movie project also marks what would have been the 80th birthday of Fujiko F. Fujio, the original creator of Doraemon manga series. Between 1969 and 1996, Fujiko was able to write at least 1,300 Doraemon stories.
