Egypt's first snow ever in 100+ years covers the Sphinx

Brought about by the "worst snowstorm" in more than 50 years, Egypt finally had its first even snow in 100+ years. It even put a blanket over Cairo, Jerusalem and some areas of Syria.

The winterized Egypt is the first of the country, as far as human records and history are concerned.

Social photo sharing portal Instagram got flooded with photos of snow taken in Egypt, Israel, Syria, Iran and Palestine.
