US Internal Revenue Service says Manny Pacquiao owes the US $18 million! A surprising statement amidst the Filipino boxer's struggle in his home country, demanding him of $50 million tax dues from fights that took place in America.
Manny Pacquiao tax evasion case
With all the bright and hopeful statements of Top Rank promoter Bob Arum in the past days, it seems Pacquiao has got new tax problems, this time with the US government.

TMZ Sports stated that it got a hold of a set of documents showing IRS claims, where Manny "..stiffed the government out of federal income taxes from 2006 to 2010 ... totaling $18,313,668.79 in debt."

Here is the yearly breakdown of Pacquiao's tax dues:

2006 -- $1,160,324.30
2007 -- $2,035,992.50
2008 -- $2,862,437.11
2009 -- $8,022,915.87
2010 -- $4,231,999.01

The income tax issue of Manny Pacquiao in the Philippines earned him frozen bank accounts and properties.

In the last week of November, Bob Arum said Pacquiao's tax paper works from IRS will be available soon - what turned up is a rather shocking claim of tax dues by the IRS itself.

On a serious note, TMZ should have posted a photo of the said documents they got from the IRS for better reliability. Otherwise, one can question why the US tax office let this thing pass for almost seven (7) years span?
