It could have led to more bloodshed but the administration side had no other choice.
Yingluck Shinawatra's administration is the main reason why the protests emerged. The mass of protesters wishes to oust Yingluck, following her bid that Pheu Thai party should put up an amnesty program that could possibly lead to the safe return of her self-exiled brother Thaksin Shinawatra, who was overthrown during a coup in 2006.
There is much to consider in the spiraling protest in Thailand; Investors could be shooed away, including tourists, hence economic degradation and perhaps, breakdown.
The protesters are still vigilant and suspicious even though the said law failed to pass.
As of the latest, there have been four people killed, while injured were at least 53. (Image: america.aljazeera.com)
