Chris Brown to stay in rehab for Washington D.C. assault case

Chris Brown and girlfriend Karreuche Tran went to the courthouse on Monday (February 3) in Los Angeles to face a hearing related to the singer's squabble with a man in Washington, D.C in October last year.


A motion was passed to put Brown on jail but the judge turned it down. Instead, the judge suggested that Brown shall undergo a rehabilitation program, considering his good behavior shown for his supposed '1,000 hours of community labor service', a result of a previous case.

Chris Brown already completed 191 of the said 1,000 hours imposed service penalty.

On February 28, Brown will be appearing at a court again for the judge to present an update on the singer's progress. (Source)
