Moscow school hostage crisis: Student kills two

More than 20 teens were taken as hostages by an armed student in Moscow on Monday, ending the lives of two - a policeman and a teacher, reports taken from security officials say.


The hostage taking incident triggered renewed security measures to be taken for the coming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi this week.

The student / hostage taker held his captives for about 30 minutes, before the police team moved in.

After the crisis, the students were evacuated to a safe place immediately.

Before the neutralization of the hostage taking student, he did not mention any demands, whatsoever. The student has been put to jail already.
